About Us
Our Name Badge & Logo
The P.V.A. Name and Badge/Logo was vested in ownership of the Partners of Veterans Association of Australia Inc. on 26 May 2003 by the founding body of the Association – The Partners of Veterans Assoc of N.S.W. Inc.
The Association badge/logo has significance to us, as partners of veterans as follows:
- The colours as depicted on the Association lapel badge - Green, representing the fertile areas and Pale Yellow - the arid outback, reflecting that members and their families have made their homes in all regions of the land.
- The green “ribbon” supporting the letters ‘P.V.A.’ encircling Australia, unites us as partners of veterans from all States and Territories of our Nation.
- The “Southern Cross” is an ancient navigation aid, able to guide our veterans home.
- The constellation is placed within N.S.W. to denote the Association’s state of origin.
The logo/badge is the registered Trade Mark of The Partners of Veterans Association of Australia Inc. giving the National Association the exclusive rights to use the logo/badge in relation to our P.V.A. State Branches and our goods and services.
